INGREDIENTS
Brown Sugar
1 cup
Salt
1.5 cups
5 Garlic Cloves
crushed
2 Bay Leaves
whole
1 Lemon
sliced
1 Orange
sliced
Nutmeg
1/4 tsp
Allspice
1/4 tsp
Cloves
1/4 tsp
Coriander
1/4 tsp
Italian Seasoning Blend
2 Tbsp
Black Peppercorns
2 Tbsp
PREPARATION
- Mix all ingredients into 1 gallon of warm water until salts and sugars have dissolved. Allow mixture to cool.
- Add turkey to brine and cover with more water until the turkey is submerged completely.
- Allow the turkey to soak in the brine for at least 24 hours before roasting.
