INGREDIENTS
John Henry's Country Style Ribs
2.5lbs, or 1 slab of Baby Back Ribs cut up
Cooking Oil or Butter
2 Tbsp
Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup
Dark Beer
12oz Guiness, or other dark beer
BBQ Sauce
2/3 Cup
Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp
PREPARATION
- Choose your ribs; 2.5lbs of Country Style Ribs or Baby Back Ribs.
- Place 2 tablespoons oil or butter in the bottom of your pan and heat on medium high.
- Pour 3/4 cup packed brown sugar into a bowl and roll ribs - be sure to coat well.
- Once coated, brown ribs in oil.
- Once browned, add any brown sugar you have remaining as well as the 12oz of dark beer.
- Add 2/3 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce and 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce.
- It's all foamy and ready to cook now. Turn the heat down to a medium low.
- Secure the lid and press cook. *On the stove top, cook at a medium simmer for about 20-25 minutes, covered, stirring once to avoid sticking.
- The ingredients will caramelize leaving you with a sticky sweet sauce coating your ribs.
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Serve and eat!
