John Henry's Pork Crown Roast is sure to impress this holiday! This standing rib roast is carefully trimmed and tied with the rib bones pointed up and the meatier section forming the base of the crown. As it is cooking the fats will melt down, concentrating the flavor into the meat section and pulling it down and away from the exposed bones, to complete the shape of the "crown". Our butcher can cut this roast to order from 7 - 11 lbs. The quoted price is based on exactly 9 lbs and may vary based on the final weight of your roast.
All of our pigs here at John Henry's are fed a mix of non-GMO corn, oats, and alfalfa, and they also love to rut around in the dirt outside looking for more snacks to eat! They are raised locally, and they are never given any hormones or antibiotics. Our fields and feed are never exposed to harsh chemicals or pesticides. Our pigs are pasture-raised and spend their days being outside as much as they wish!
