John Henry's Chicken Wings
2 -2.5 lbs
Baking Powder
1 1/2 Tbsp
Garlic Powder
2 tsp
Onion Powder
2 tsp
Paprika
1 tsp
Salt
1/2 tsp
Pepper
1/4 tsp
Favorite Wing Sauce
(optional)
PREPARATION
- Pat your wings completely dry with a paper towel.
- Combine Baking Powder and seasonings into a bowl. Stir, shake and toss with the meat until the wings are well coated.
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
- Place a roasting tray on a baking sheet and spread the wing pieces out evenly on the rack.
- Bake for 30 minutes on the bottom rack of the oven, rotating the meat after 15 minutes.
- Increase the temperature to 425 degrees and bake for another 60 minutes, continuing to turn the pieces every 15 minutes.
- Remove your crispy wings from the oven and serve right away or smothered in your favorite sauce!
TIP: Take a shortcut and substitute the seasonings with 4 teaspoons of your favorite seasoning blend!
